About me
Aaron Lockwood (aka deadkiriyama) has been working as a college tutor since 2010, teaching a range of Art & Design and Media subjects. He previously studied for a BA Hons in Animation at the university of Lincoln, following completion of his Media Production and Art & Design courses at Suffolk New College.
In his spare time Aaron illustrates, animates and collages. He produces work for HitRECord, where his illustrations and animations featured in HitRECord on TV seasons one and two. Aaron has previously produced drypoint prints of his Macabre Stories, and will be producing etching prints of this series in the near future. Aaron has recently begun exploring screen printing, focusing mainly on anaglyph 3D prints, which can be found in the shop.
Aaron has been producing collage work since 2015, using found images, original photographs and various other materials. With these collages he aims to produce work that is visually pleasing, whilst encouraging the viewer to create their own narrative or subtext.
