Every collage I create is made using traditional techniques; hand cut found images, paper and text, all composed and assembled in real life with a scalpel and glue. Nothing digital. I enjoy the restrictions and challenges that come with only using existing materials, which result in imperfect outcomes that maintain a tactile pleasure.
My aim with the work is to provide the viewer with the basic elements of a narrative, giving them the building blocks to create their own narrative.
